Amazon (AMZN) announced their Black Friday Deals week on Nov. 16. The announcement confirms that Amazon, like many other retailers this season, will be hosting a week-long sales event for Black Friday 2020. The deals officially kick off on Nov. 20 and will run through Nov. 27. Amazon confirmed that new deals will pop up every day of the sale.
Amazon has also extended their return policy on all products purchased between now and Dec. 31, with returns possible until Jan. 31, 2021. This extended window has become common among retailers, but Amazon’s return window is roughly two weeks longer than most others. Amazon also has way more accessible ways to return products, including UPS pickup, UPS drop off, and Kohl’s drop-off.
Amazon hosted their Prime Day late in October this year, but from the advertised prices we’re seeing listed in the press release, their Black Friday prices are far superior. Amazon has announced a landing page for their Black Friday-labeled deals, some of which are live now. The deals listed in the press release will not be live until Nov. 20.
Amazon gift card promotions
In addition to loads of other deals, Amazon is offering 20% savings on select branded gift cards. The sale runs Nov. 26 through Nov. 30, and advertised retailers include Gap, H&M and Petco.
Amazon shoppers can also take advantage of Amazon Reload to restock their Amazon Gift Card balance for a free $10 when reloading at least $100 (first-time reload only).
Shoppers snagging Amazon gift cards (for the first time) of at least $50 or more will net back $15, but there are restrictions. The promotion ends Dec. 20 and the free $15 must be used by Feb. 6, 2021.
